"What is it all about?"
What is it all about?
It's about work, travel, discovering different cultures, pushing personal limits, and most importantly, the journey to oneself.
When I first thought about starting a blog, many people laughed at me — "You?" they said.
And that motivated me more than anything else.
At one point, I wanted to give up. But then I thought — I've got years of work and travel behind me, both good and tough experiences, and I won't let myself be discouraged.
I was frustrated by people's envy, bitterness, and mockery.
Maybe it's part of human nature — always judging or criticizing someone for something they haven't even tried yet, or worse, for actually succeeding. For stepping out of their comfort zone and working on themselves, on their dreams and passions.
To grow as a person.
And maybe that's what life is about — working on yourself and constantly improving in different areas, fulfilling your dreams.
Personally, I believe that besides health — which is the most important thing in life — traveling comes second.
Travel shapes us more than anything else.
I don't mean commuting to work or shopping trips. I mean real travel — visiting countries around the world, exploring different cultures, historical sites, food, talking to locals.
All of that shapes a person.
It brings countless memories and life experiences that bring us closer to our dreams.
Because life isn't just about work and money.
It's mainly about understanding yourself, about freedom, mutual tolerance, love, and respect for others.
On my journeys — both personal and work-related — I've met countless people.
And many times, contrary to popular beliefs, I realized that the opinions of most people need to change.
The world is far more colorful and diverse than we admit.
It's one thing to talk about people from afar, over a drink — and another thing entirely to speak with them in person.
As human beings, we're influenced by our surroundings and, of course, the media — which doesn't always paint an accurate picture.
On my travels, I've met amazing people — people others might consider "different."
And I've also encountered racism — which, although many don't realize it, is still deeply rooted in many nations.
I'd like to write about these topics.
As I mentioned in the description of my website, through travel articles I'd love to — together with you, those who are willing to read and maybe even contribute — help make this world a better place.
A place of tolerance, respect for others and their opinions, and open resistance to discrimination and racism.
